This installation help contains everything you need +more to start playing at 7kplay.net. This installation help will start off assuming you have nothing installed.

PLAYING THE GAME:
Download the UFO2000 ALL-IN-ONE version. No need to install, Just run it! READY!

JOINING THE WAR:
Download the latest phase weaponset from the Official public information forum thread. Install it in the ufo2000/extensions/ folder of your ufo2000 installation.

UNINSTALLING:
To completely uninstall UFO2000 and start from scratch, run the uninstaller in the UFO2000 directory AND use your OS software uninstaller (Windows for example) to uninstall it also (deletes it from registry).

UPDATING/BOOSTING AN EXISTING INSTALL (Not needed if you have the ALL-IN-ONE version!):
Download the UFO2000 Booster pack from the Downloads Section. It has many new cool addons and features. The booster pack also contains UTTO. Read all about it and how it works

FINDING OPPONENTS:
You can find players in the 7k chat by using your PSI-AMP, use UTTO (your_directory/UFO2000/utto/utto.exe) or in the ufo2000 game lobby. See you there!

QUESTIONS?:
If you are completely new to UFO2000, be warned! Playing X-Com against human players is way different you are probably used to. Remember, the game is 15+ years old and the AI wasn't that bright. Be sure to consult the new players help section to get a head start.
